How to Change the Date Format to UK in the CX Data App
If you've noticed that the date format appears in the US style (MM/DD/YYYY) rather than the UK standard (DD/MM/YYYY), here's a simple way to adjust it in Google Chrome.
Step 1: Access the Language Settings
Open Google Chrome and navigate to the settings menu. You can do this by clicking the three dots in the browser's top-right corner and selecting Settings. Alternatively, type chrome://settings directly into the address bar.
Step 2: Search for Languages
Once in the settings menu, locate the search bar at the top. Type in “Languages” to quickly access the language preferences section.
Step 3: Add English (United Kingdom)
You'll see a list of languages currently set for your browser in the Preferred Languages section. To ensure the UK date format is applied:
- Click on Add Languages.
- Search for “English (United Kingdom)” in the list that appears and add it.
Step 4: Drag English (United Kingdom) to the top of the list
After adding, drag English (United Kingdom) to the top of the list to set it as the default language. You can do this by clicking the three dots next to it and selecting Move to the top.
Once you've updated the language settings, refresh the CX Data app or any page displaying dates. The app should now display dates in the UK format (DD/MM/YYYY).
