How to Install Microsoft Fonts on a Mac

Here’s a quick guide to installing the Segoe UI font, which is commonly used on Microsoft platforms but not natively supported on Macs.

Steps to Install the Segoe UI Font:

1. Download the Fonts

   Click on the following link to download the Segoe UI font package: https://aka.ms/WebFluentFonts

2. Open the Downloaded File

   Once the file has been downloaded, open it to reveal the different Segoe UI font styles (e.g., Regular, Bold, Italic).

3. Select and Open the Fonts with Font Book
   • Select all the font files by clicking and dragging over them, or by holding down the Command key and clicking each file individually.

   • Right-click on your selection, choose “Open With,” and select “Font Book.”

     

4. Install the Fonts
   • When Font Book opens, you’ll see a preview of the selected font.
