- Which product combinations should we focus on for our marketing campaigns?
How to read the report

Identifying Strong Product Relationships:
- Use the % of Customers Next Bought metric to identify strong product pairings. A higher percentage indicates that customers frequently purchase the secondary SKU in their next order after buying the selected SKU. These products are well-suited for cross-selling or bundling initiatives.
Leveraging Insights for Retention Campaigns:
- If customers tend to buy the same product again in the next order, this suggests a high rate of repeat purchases. Such products are ideal for re-engagement campaigns, subscription models, or loyalty program incentives to increase repeat purchases.
Optimizing Cross-Selling and Upselling:
- Products with a moderate to high next-buy percentage but different SKUs are prime opportunities for cross-selling. For instance, if Product X often leads to Product Y in the next purchase, promoting Product Y to recent buyers of Product X can drive additional sales.
Example
A high number of customers who purchase Product A followed by Product B in their next order suggests a strong complementary relationship. This could indicate that the two products fulfill related needs, and bundling them or featuring them together can enhance customer experience and loyalty.
