How to read the report

This report provides insights into the repurchase behavior of different customer cohorts over time. Each row represents a cohort, and each column represents the percentage of customers who repurchased within specific timeframes after their initial purchase.
- The Number of Customers column allows you to see the size of each cohort. This serves as a benchmark to understand the proportion of customers who made repurchases in different timeframes and reflects the effectiveness of your acquisition campaigns.
- For analyzing the performance of an individual cohort over different periods, read the table from left to right across the % Repurchase columns. Each column represents a different timeframe: 2 weeks, 4 weeks, 8 weeks, 12 weeks, 26 weeks, and 52 weeks.
- This allows you to evaluate how the % repurchase evolves for each specific cohort, providing insights into customer behavior and engagement trends over extended periods.
- Growth: If the % Repurchase consistently increases across the columns, it indicates positive growth, suggesting effective retention efforts and increasing customer loyalty.
- Stagnation: If the % Repurchase remains stable across the columns, it indicates stagnation, suggesting that while customers are being retained, growth opportunities may not be fully leveraged.
- Decline: If the % Repurchase decreases over subsequent columns, it suggests a decline in customer engagement and loyalty, requiring a review of retention strategies.
- Fluctuation: If the % Repurchase fluctuates, it may indicate seasonality or the impact of specific promotions that drive inconsistent customer engagement.
Color Coding
Color coding helps you quickly identify high and low-performing cohorts for the selected period.
- Green: Indicates a high value for the specific period. For example, if the % Repurchase is Green, it means the cohort is performing well in that period.
- Red: Indicates a low value for the specific period. For example, if the % Repurchase is Red, it means the cohort is not performing well in that period.
